JAMES CAMERON TO DIRECT "CLEOPATRA" WITH ANGELINA JOLIE. JESSICA LANGE & SAM NEILL JOIN CHANNING TATUM & RACHEL MCADAMS IN "THE VOW". VANESSA HUDGENS JOINS JOSH HUTCHERSON, DWAYNE JOHNSON & MICHAEL CAINE IN "JOURNEY 2: THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND"

As you already know by now,  the biggest news yesterday around the net was the one about James Cameron directing CLEOPATRA with Angelina Jolie. HOLLYWOOD SPY has already written about the project earlier this year, and now James Cameron and Sony Pictures Entertainment are  making plans about the luxurious epic film based on the book "Cleopatra: A Life" by Stacy Schiff. According to "Deadline" screenwriter Brian Helgeland has already finished a brilliant script deserving of epic treatment. Angelina herself said that the film will focus on the truth about Cleopatra as a leader and not just a sex symbol, since she was a mother, leader and an intellect who spoke five languages and whose upbringing also reflected her relationship with Rome. The filming could start next year, before Cameron dedicates himself to AVATAR sequels.

Upcoming romance film THE VOW has just got some new additions to its cast: Jessica Lange and Sam Neill will join Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum in the story about a young woman who loses all recent memory in a car accident and struggles to rebuild her identity, while her husband tries to win her heart for the second time. Scott Speedman will play Rachel's ex-love, who appears in their lives while Channing tries to remind her of their marriage.

Charming Vanessa Hudgens has just joined JOURNEY 2: THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND in which she will star together with Josh Hutcherson and Dwayne Johnson who is replacing Brendan Fraser. In the film, Josh Hutcherson and Dwayne Johnson will travel to a mysterious island in search of Josh's grandfather played by Michael Caine. Vanessa Hudgens will portray a girl from the island who will fall in love with Josh.

All over the world there are thousands of girls doing thousands of good deeds, just like you. It does not take a lot of effort to donate some time to your community and make a difference. Two girls who live by that prerogative are Violet. C and Mackenzie. O. The two know what making a difference really means and they do everything in their power to do so…

Violet C. a 13-year-old girl decided it was time to get up and make a difference. Violet wrote to us from Toronto saying she hated seeing homeless people in her streets. “I feel badly for them. When I go shopping with my friends I bring a lot of money and may buy something silly or worthless that I don’t even need, while they are begging for just a meal” She continued to say that about 2 weeks after that thought hit her she did some research. “I learned that there are organizations that help these poor people and my mom took me to one so I could.”

Now it is two years latter and Violet has helped to get over 100 homeless people indoors and with food. Violet feels good about what she is doing because she knows she is making a difference. Violet told us that you are never too old or too young to do the right thing. Violet C. is taking action in her community and hopes more kids like her can start doing the right thing.

Elder Buddy

Mackenzie O. of Saskatchewan has always been interested in donating time to others. “Even at a young age I wanted to help out” Now at age 10 Mackenzie works weekly at an elders home “I don’t have any family there but, a while ago when I went to visit my friends granny I learned that a lot of the elders don’t get many visits” I felt so bad I knew I had to do something. She inquired about helping out at the home and the owner quickly agreed.

Elder Buddy is a program that Mackenzie started herself after a few months of working at the home. She explained to us how the program worked “Kids, teens and adults sign up to participate in the program.” They become a caretaker for a few hours each month of their selected buddy. It is the responsibility of the caretaker to take out their buddy on excursion day. The excursion could be a walk or a theater show. It just need’s to be something they can enjoy.  Mackenzie says the elder’s love it and so do we.

WENTWORTH MILLER IS THE NEW "SPARTACUS"?!? BETTY WHITE, NICOLE SCHERZINGER, GEMMA ARTERTON & ALEC BALDWIN JOIN "MEN IN BLACK 3". NEW PICS FROM "GAME OF THRONES" HBO'S EPIC SERIES. DRACULA'S LAST JOURNEY IN "THE LAST VOYAGE OF DEMETER"

I'm not ashamed to admit I've almost fainted when I heard the gossip last night over at "Beyond Hollywood": Wentworth Miller, the star of PRISON BREAK and RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE, has expressed interest in taking over the lead role from Andy Whitfield in the second season of SPARTACUS BLOOD AND SAND since Andy has problems with cancer again and will leave the show for good. I personally couldn't be happier if Starz really gives the role to charismatic and amazing Wentworth. We shall know soon what will really happen and who will be Spartacus in the end, but Miller could take the whole show to such amazing new levels.

Now, I must admit I've never liked MEN IN BLACK movies but it seems that MEN IN BLACK III has gathered itself quite a stunning cast beside Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. Last week I told you that Emma Thompson will play the head of MIB in modern day, and now there are many other new names in the cast: lovely Gemma Arterton (PRINCE OF PERSIA, CLASH OF THE TITANS) will play a secretary in the film which will also go back to the 60's and Alec Baldwin will play the MIB boss from the past. Super gorgeous singer Nicole Scherzinger (who currently has a hit duo with Enrique Iglesias) will play a character called the Devil Girl :) and even our beloved Betty White will make a cameo as someone's mother.

The casting for THE LAST VOYAGE OF DEMETER has started. Ben Kingsley is one of the actors who will appear in this spooky saga about the journey of Dracula's coffin from Transylvania to England. According to many legends when the boat called Demeter arrived at the port, no survivors were found on board. The lead actor hasn't been cast yet, and I'm not sure whether Ben will be the Dracula himself, but he fits the role physically :)

And here are two new images from the most anticipated TV series GAME OF THRONES which is to premiere next year at HBO. Based on the famous fantasy saga by George R.R. Martin the series will follow seven noble families who fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros surrounded by political and sexual intrigues. As you can see from the pictures with Sean Bean and Jerome Flynn, the series will have the spectacular magical settings, costumes and music like the ones seen in LORD OF THE RINGS.
