DRAMATIC TRAILER FOR MICHAEL SHEEN'S WW2 FILM "RESISTANCE"! "WYATT EARP" SHOW FROM STAR TREK PRODUCERS! DOUG LIMAN COVERS "EVEREST"! WOODY HARRELSON IN "NOW YOU SEE ME"!

According to "Variety", Woody Harrelson is the latest one to join Louis Leterrier's heist flick NOW YOU SEE ME. In the cast, which already includes Isla Fisher, Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg

and Morgan Freeman, Woody will portray a cunning hypnotist and mentalist who is famous for his mind tricks. He joins the Four Horsemen, a team of elite illusionists who pull off bank robberies during their performances, and give the money away to their audience. Deadline reports that one of our favourite SPARTACUS stars Jai Courtney has joined ONE SHOT, in which Tom Cruise investigates a case of a sniper, who gunned down five random victims, and uncovers a conspiracy. Jai will take the role of a highly trained sniper who is motivated to stop him.

HOLLYWOOD SPY HEADLINES

Famous STAR TREK producers, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman have sold their new TV show to Fox. It will be epic

series on WYATT EARP, and according to "MovieWeb" it will cover the well-known moments in his life, such as the shootout at the OK Corall, but it will also center on how he and his brothers helped bring law and order to the Old West. Director Doug Liman will helm EVEREST, which will follow George Mallory, who tried to be the first man to scale Mount Everest in the 1920s.  Beside his obsession with the mountain, which later on took his life, the film will also cover his rivalry with a fellow climber. The film will be based on PATHS OF GLORY book by Jeffrey Archer.

I've mentioned this film a few times last year, but now here's the first dramatic and very disturbing trailer for British film RESISTANCE based on the debut novel by charming young writer

Owen Sheers. Starring Welsh star Michael Sheen and German actor Tom Wlaschiha (who is appearing in the second season of GAME OF THRONES next year), this drama is set in an alternate Britain in which D-Day has failed and the country is under Nazi occupation. When in 1944 a group of women in an isolated Welsh village wake up they discover all of the their husbands have mysteriously vanished. It turns out that all of the men have left to join resistance. The situation gets even more dramatic when one of the women falls for one of the Germans who have come to occupy their village. The film should premiere in Britain later this November.

After rumors from a few days ago about Kevin Durand and Oded Fehr joining RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION, Milla Jovovich has revealed that the fourth part of the zombie franchise has a new member in the cast - Johann Urb will play Leon Kennedy, the leader of the human resistance. Handsome Estonian actor, Johann Urb, has been seen in EASTWICK TV show and in Emmerich's epic 2012 before he got this new gig.

According to "Heat Vision" Susan Sarandon has joined Dwayne Johnson in SNITCH, in which he plays a father devastated by his son being sentenced to 30 years in prison on drug charges. He

takes extreme measures by going behind bars as an undercover prison informant to bust a major drug dealer, in hopes of securing a commuted sentence for his son. Sarandon will play a district attorney who tries to advance her career with this undercover operation. Comic book series AREA 52 will get its movie adaptation. The story is set in a top-secret Antarctica warehouse which U.S. government uses to store hideous creatures and mystical weapons. When an aggressive new alien is accidentally hatched, the group of misfits hired to watch over the warehouse must band together to keep these creatures from escaping.

First pictures from Jean Jacques Annaud's (the sensual French director of ENEMY AT THE GATES and SEVEN YEARS IN TIBET) new film BLACK GOLD have been released around the net.  As

you remember from our earlier report, Antonio Banderas (plays an Arabian emir) lead cast, which also includes Mark Strong (as emir's main rival), Freida Pinto (as emir's daughter, princess Lalah) and Tahar Rahim (as Strong's son, prince Auda), stars in

this movie set in the 1930s when oil was first being discovered in parts of Arabia. The story of the film centers on rival Arabian tribes and the young ruler who manages to unite these warring kingdoms.

Famous James Horner from TITANIC and AVATAR is composing the music for this expensive epic.

After that he will again be a criminal in BY VIRTUE FALL a film about an ex-con who seeks revenge upon his mentor who framed him for a crime he didn't commit.

I'm a few days late with this one, but here it is now - the first trailer for ONE FOR THE MONEY, a movie adaptation of famous book series by Janet Evanovich. Popular Katherine Heigl portrays Stephanie Plum  the main character of the sixteen mystery bestsellers. Stephanie Plum's got plenty of attitude, even if she's been out of work for the last six months and just lost her car to a debt collector. Desperate for some fast cash, Stephanie turns to her last resort: convincing her sleazy cousin to give her a job at his bail bonding company... as a recovery agent. The film should open up in cinemas next January.

Hey, people, our poll in which I asked you WHO SHOULD BE OSCARS 2012 HOST is over and Neil Patrick Harris is the proud winner with 26% of your votes, leaving Justin Timberlake (18%) and Robin Williams (10%) behind him.

Eddie Murphy,who is the official host of the next year's Academy Awards didn't really shine in this poll receiving only 8% of total votes, and finishing behind Dame Edna (10%)  and Ben Stiller.

I must agree with you that Neil Patrick Harris would make a great Oscar host. Not only that he has great sense of humour, funny but intelligent, refined and non-offensive, and outstanding personal and stage charisma, but he is also a very lovable guy who mostly inspires positive reactions and nice feedback from the audience. He is also a good looker and a stunning dresser which counts as well when you're being watched by hundreds of millions of people around the globe. And he already has hosting experience since he hosted the Tony Awards rather successfully. He also did the opening number at the Oscars back in 2010. Another thing that qualifies him for the job are his family oriented films (THE SMURFS, THE MUPPETS) and his calm, non-scandalous and exemplary private life.

According to "Vulture", Brad Pitt has been offered the lead role in sf epic ALL YOU NEED IS KILL. To be directed by Doug Liman it will

center on a soldier killed in battle while fighting an intergalactic alien war. Instead of heading to the afterlife, he is resurrected to the day before his death, each and every day. As "ScreenDaily" reports Paul Bettany and Brian Cox have joined BLOOD, a movie adaptation of BBC's 2004 CONVICTION TV series about two policemen who kill a murder suspect and are then plunged into chaos when they are forced to investigate their own crime. According to "MovieWeb" Ridley Scott has hired the writer of CONTAGION and THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM to pen his remake or reboot of BLADE RUNNER classic from the 80s.

To celebrate the premiere of the fourth season of MERLIN, the most popular epic show around the world (it is broadcast in unbelievable 183 countries), on October 1st at BBC ONE.  I have some hotsy pics for my ladies of scantily clad knights of Camelot

joined the third part of the famous RIDDICK sf saga. He will reprise the outstanding role of charismatic lord Vaako from THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK. As you know Vin Diesel is currently trying to find money for the movie which will be directed by David Twohy and will be more gritty and dark which is why it will be R-rated. Speaking of our beloved Karl Urban, as you know, he has another two big projects ahead of him - the lead role in the remake of JUDGE DREDD and the sequel to STAR TREK. And he also has LOFT with equally stunning James Marsden and Wentworth Miller.

As "Deadline" reports 20th Century Fox will adapt Isaac Asimov's futuristic story THE CAVES OF STEEL. The story is set 1,000 years

in the future, where humans have grown increasingly more paranoid of robots, who perform laborious tasks on outer planets known as "spacers". A "spacer" ambassador, who is trying to loosen Earth's restrictions on robots, is murdered, which forces a detective to pair up with a robot disguised as a human to solve the crime. After we've seen the teasing teaser, today you can check out the first poster for THE IRON LADY which premieres this December with Meryl Streep as infamous war loving British prime minister Margareth Thatcher. The cast also includes brilliant Jim Broadbent and Richard E.Grant.

Your trailer for creepy Monday is equally creepy and much more exciting one for THE GREY, a suspense drama which should open in cinemas next year starring Liam Neeson, James Badge Dale and Dermot Mulroney. The film follows the survivors of a harrowing plane crash who are then hunted down by a pack of wild and hungry wolves in the setting of snow covered mountains where they are trying to fight back the beasts and survive again using all means possible in the cold wasteland. The  film is both written and directed by Joe Carnahan the helmer of NARC and THE A-TEAM.

Back in June, you really liked the first part of HOLLYWOOD SPY'S  UPCOMING STARS spotlight, and since we've witnessed a lot of young stars appearing more or less from nowhere at one

moment and getting numerous roles in biggest blockbusters at the next one, here's the second part with some new upcoming super stars.

GODLY LUKE EVANS

Coming from Wales,  super dashing, ultra charismatic and mega talented LUKE EVANS has been getting really tasty roles in big epics and huge blockbusters. For obvious reasons, directors love to give him Godly roles so you've seen him as Apollo in CLASH OF THE TITANS and this December you will see him as Zeus in this year's

most awaited epic IMMORTALS. This Fall he will also play Aramis in THE THREE MUSKETEERS, and his biggest future role is the role of the brave archer Bard, the leader of Men in Peter

Naya Rivera's fake bob is a total nay! Those sloppy falling out strands and stringy fly-aways look awful. I'm getting the feeling she looked at her watch 20 minuets before she had to be on the red carpet, freaked out, and did a lil' DIY fob. Not a good look!

The always elegant Amy Adams looks lovely with her fob. The gentle loose locks around her face are very pretty, plus her hair is not too stiff looking making for a breezy vibe. Amy, I'm oving this look!

No offense Rachel Bilson, but your fob is a little too basic to be considered fab. You look like a pioneer girl with your hair slicked right back! Go for your long flowing locks next time...they suit you way better.

Selena is such a sweetie and short hair would look darling on her, but this attempt at a fake bob is not cutting it. The loose fly-aways and chunky pieces of hair make it look like Sel' just rolled out of bed (on the wrong side). Sorry Miss. Gomez, but this hair style is not a hit!

Elegant, classy, effortlessly chic....Freida Pinto's fake bob deserves a double thumbs up! Her luxe curls look even more stunning when shifted more on to one side. Frieda, you look simply divine!

HEARTWARMING TRAILER FOR "BIG MIRACLE" WITH DREW BARRYMORE & JOHN KRASINSKI. BLAKE LIVELY IN "PRIDE & PREJUDICE & ZOMBIES"! CASEY AFFLECK GABRIEL, CAMILLA BELLE IS EVE IN "PARADISE LOST"?

 One of the most interesting upcoming movie projects, the epic adaptation of John Milton's famous PARADISE LOST, is

getting new actors. As "Variety" reports, director Alex Proyas could offer the role of the six winged angel Gabriel, who is God's messenger, to Casey Affleck (I'm not seeing this choice), while gorgeous Camilla Belle (Evolet from 10,000BC) is the lead contender for the role of the first woman Eve. As I told you before, the film will follow the epic war (including aerial battles) between Lucifer, played by Bradley Cooper who is the producer as well, and angel Michael (Benjamin Walker), while Djimon Hounsou will play Abdiel, the angel of death.

I've personally never watched 24, but some of you might like the news that Kiefer Sutherland is returning to TV in TOUCH at

Fox as a father of a mute soon who has ability to see things that no one else can and the patterns that connect seemingly unrelated events. After a gazillion of actresses have turned down the lead role in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, including Emma Stone, Scarlett Johanssen and that Portman woman, the new face in the game is Blake Lively who could play in the film which could finally make you like Jane Austen's insipid story, since chaste Miss Elizabeth Bennet will be under an attack of bloodthirsty undead people :) The film is based on the novel by Seth Grahame Smith.

FALLEN ANGEL IN NICHOLAS SPARK'S SHOW "THE WATCHERS"! INTENSE TRAILER FOR "MAN ON A LEDGE" WITH SAM WORTHINGTON & JAMIE BELL. CHARLIZE THERON TAKES THE LEAD IN "CITIES OF REFUGE"!

Famous writer Nicholas Sparks (DEAR JOHN, THE NOTEBOOK) has sold his new show to ABC. Titled THE WATCHERS, the show follows Raphael, an angel who falls in love with a mortal woman,

Sarah, and decides to leave his job as a Watcher, an angel who invisibly provides support to humans in time of need. Unfortunately, things don't turn out so well for the star-crossed lovers when she dies and he is left to wander the Earth alone as a fallen angel. Dependent on the kindness of strangers and hunted by angels from above and below, he travels undercover, performing miracles as he searches for the meaning of loss and clues to Sarah's fate. Sparks wrote the show together with Kristin Hahn (THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE)

HOLLYWOOD SPY HEADLINES

Pop star Elton John has hired the writer of BILLY ELLIOT and

WAR HORSE to pen a biographical musical fantasy called ROCKETMAN with choreographed musical numbers set to Elton John's songs, which will help drive a narrative story about the musician trying to navigate through the rough patches in his life. So, MOULIN ROUGE the Elton way. Gorgeous Charlize Theron could take the lead role in CITIES OF REFUGE, joining the club of Hollywood stars who take roles in mediocre crime films, since this one will follow a female investigator brought in to solve a brutal murder and kidnapping in which things aren't what they seem.

Today's trailer is an intense one for MAN ON A LEDGE which opens in cinemas next January. The story follows an ex-cop turned con (Sam Worthington) who threatens to jump to his death from

a Manhattan hotel rooftop. The nearest New York Police officer immediately responds to a screaming women and calls dispatch. The NYPD then sends a female police psychologist (Elizabeth Banks) personally requested to talk him down from the ledge. However, unbeknownst to the NYPD on the scene, the suicide attempt is a cover up for the biggest diamond heist ever pulled. Beside Worthington and Banks, the cast also includes Jamie Bell, Anthony Mackie and Ed Harris. Don't confuse the film with a similar one THE LEDGE with Patrick Wilson and Charlie Hunnam which I posted about earlier this year.
