Diablo Cody, whom some like as the writer of JUNO, and I like her for UNITED STATES OF TARA, will direct her first film. It will be LAMB OF GOD, a comedy about a young conservative religious

woman who loses her faith after a plane crash and decides to go to Las Vegas to live the life of a sinner. According to "Variety", the writer of HORRIBLE BOSSES is working on KING OF ELVES, an animated film about an average Mississippi man whose reluctant actions to help a desperate band of elves leads them to name him their new king. Hunky Chris Thor Hemsworth, who is quickly becoming a huge star in Hollywood will star in SHADOW HUNTER,  a new action thriller about an elite team of covert operatives who are great in finding ways to complete the most impossible missions.

Some great new images have just been released for what promises to be a barbaric visual feast when CONAN THE BARBARIAN comes out this August. Starring Jason Momoa, Ron Perlman, Rachel Nichols and Rose McGowan, the remake of the 80's

classic will begin with a personal vendetta of the fierce Cimmerian warrior which soon turns into an epic battle against hulking rivals, horrific monsters, and impossible odds, as Conan realizes he is the only hope of saving the great nations of Hyboria from an encroaching reign of supernatural evil.

This movie adaptation of  a popular cold war bestseller by famous John Le Carre is set in the aftermath of the cold war, and it tells the thrilling tale of a spy-hunt within the highest echelons of the British Secret Intelligence Service. Back in the 1970's there was a very popular TV show based on the same book which became a television classic in Great Britain.

For reasons unknown, Sam Claflin has backed away from THE SEVENTH SON (I'm guessing he got some more lucrative offers after his success in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN),and he will

be replaced by Ben Barnes (THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA, DORIAN GRAY) who will now join Julianne Moore and Jeff Bridges in this magical adventure about a young apprentice (Barnes) of a powerful exorcist and magician (Bridges) who must battle with evil witch (Moore). Now this is quite a strange pairing, but it seems that Clint Eastwood, who is planning a remake of musical film A STAR IS BORN in which Beyonce will play a singer, wants Leonardo DiCaprio as a movie star who helps the young singer to achieve fame. Russell Crowe, Jon Hamm, Gerard Butler and even Will Smith have been previously mentioned for the role. I think Hugh Jackman would fit this role best.

One of our dearest Hollywood faces John Krasinski (THE OFFICE) is preparing a show together with HBO. He came to and idea about a show which would be set in a hotel near his house. It happens to be CHATEAU MARMONT, one of Hollywood's oldest and most prestigious landmarks. The mini series will probably have eight episodes and will follow everything that was happening in the famous and glamorous hotel from its opening in the 1920's till today. Krasinki will both star and produce the show, while the script will be written by Aaron Sorkin who wrote THE SOCIAL NETWORK.

The first trailer for Stephen Spielberg's new film WAR HORSE has just been released. Set in the rural England and Europe

during the First World War, the film follows the remarkable friendship between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert, who tames and trains him. When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets - British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter, before the story reaches its emotional climax in the heart of No Man's Land. The film stars Jeremy Irvine, Toby Kebbell, Emily Watson, David Thewlis, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston ... and is out December 28th!

 According to "Deadline" a highly anticipated prequel to legendary epic 300 previously titled XERXES has changed its name into

300: BATTLE OF ARTEMISIA. Based on Frank Miller's graphic novel and shot in the same style as 300, the prequel will be set a decade before the original film following the events and battles which actually made Persian ruler Xerxes so powerful. Since Zack Snyder won't be able to take the helm being preoccupied with his MAN OF STEEL Superman film, Warner Bros. is deciding between Noam Murro and Jaume Collet Serra (ORPHAN, HOUSE OF VAX) for the new director. Strange choice I must admit.

It seems that the cast for THE PAPERBOY is getting stellar, after Nicole Kidman has joined Matthew McConaughey and Zac

Efron. The film will follow two reporters who are investigating the story behind a Death Row prisoner. Nicole will play a mysterious lady who writes letters to Death Row inmates. I personally don't understand the sudden resurrection of Jeff Bridges in Hollywood, but he will star in sf film THE GIVER,  set in a utopian society where all the memories of human history have been erased with a young boy being assigned to be The Giver of his community, which means he has to bear all of his community's past experiences and emotions, in case a time comes when they will be of use.

Fox is preparing a film adaptation of Justin Cronin's book PASSAGE, about a scientific experiment gone horribly awry that unleashes a new breed of vampires on society: vampires which also have the ability to read minds. Ridley Scott is producing. Although it didn't break records at the box office Warner Bros. is ready to greenlit the sequel to GREEN LANTERN! The film has earned less than $100 million so far in USA.

After we've seen the stunning poster and some adorable pictures, we finally have an absolutely mindblowing and mesmerizing first teaser for Pixar's animated film BRAVE which is coming to

cinemas next year. Set in medieval Scotland it follows the impetuous, tangle-haired princess Merida, who wants to become world's greatest archer. A clash of wills with her mother compels Merida to make a reckless choice, which unleashes unintended peril on her father's kingdom and her mother's life. Merida struggles with the unpredictable forces of nature, magic and a dark, ancient curse to set things right!The voice cast includes Emma Thompson and Kevin McKidd! I swear you won't be able to breathe while watching this one!

And after the truly sensational and groundbreaking first trailer which amazed the audience around the world attracting great praise from the movie lovers, Tarsem Singh has released the

second absolutely stunning and grandiose trailer for his Greek epic IMMORTALS. The film follows the adventure of brave Theseus (Henry Cavill) who has to fight against the evil King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) on his bloodthirsty quest to release the Titans in their revengeful wrath. Secretly chosen by Zeus (Luke Evans), Theseus must stop Hyperion and his evil hordes with the help of his cunning slave (Stephen Dorff) and visionary priestess Phaedra (Freida Pinto). The film also stars John Hurt as Old Zeus, Kellan Lutz as Poseidon, Isabel Lucas as Athena, Corey Sevier as Apollo! This will be the biggest visual feast ever!

Prada Fall 2011 Ad Campaign

Although it was leaked before being officially released last week, the Prada Fall Winter 2011 2012 ad campaign is amazing! The campaign features unheard of models that will soon be on high demand! The models are Kelly Mittendorf, Frida Gustavsson, Ondria Hardin and Antonia Wesseloh photographed by Steven Miesel. No one knew of these models but undoubtedly they are going to be the next big thing.

The models are looking fabulous in this collection of ads. Thanks to the dream team who put the campaign together! The total ad campaign was styled by Melissa Klitzke-Rubini. Melissa did an amazing job....the girls looked great! Hair and make up was done by Guido Palau and Pat McGrath. Flaunt It loves their work! Ashley Brokaw was the cast director. She did a fantastic job.

Although, just two days ago I've informed you that SAFE HAVEN by Nicholas Sparks will be adapted by Lasse Hallstrom, yet 

another of his novels has been sold for adaptation. As "Deadline" reports his upcoming book THE BEST OF ME has just been acquired by Warner Bros. The story follows two middle-aged people who were high school sweethearts but neither has lived the life they imagined . . . and neither can  forget the passionate first love that forever altered their world. When  they are both called back to their hometown for the funeral of the  mentor who once gave them shelter, they will be forced to confront the  choices each has made, and ask whether love can truly rewrite the past.

And check out a charming trailer for FLYPAPER which follows Tripp Kennedy (Patrick Dempsey) who ambles into a bank near closing time, just as two different gangs unwittingly converge to rob it. A shoot-out erupts, and Tripp tackles the smart, pretty teller, Kaitlin (Ashley Judd), to protect her. The gangs, one clearly made up of pros and the other a couple of buffoons named Peanut Butter and Jelly, have deadlocked themselves in a Mexican standoff. The bank's security system starts the end-of-day lock down and seals everyone into the building. As the night evolves, a hilarious game of cat and mouse ensues as Tripp and Kaitlin try to save the day, escape being killed, and avoid falling in love . . . almost.

Taylor Swift’s latest hit, “Mean”, all began when the 21-year-old superstar wrote down her thoughts and feelings about a certain person who had written very “mean” things about her, and put it to music. So, to see it physically and emotionally connect with fans on tour is especially gratifying to Taylor. “It‟s just really fun to see Mean do well…especially based on what I wrote that song about and based on the fact that it came from me going through a really tough time in writing that song, because I felt so powerless I just didn’t know what else to say or what else to do,"she says". 

And hearing that song being sung louder than my voice is coming through the P.A. in a stadium is sort of the coolest experience of my life, because when you write a song and it comes from such a vulnerable moment in my life and then you get to stand on a stage and the affirmation that 50,000 people have gone through that too and they’re singing along, it’s been kind of wonderful.

The song, which was officially certified Gold this week, received the same response Saturday night for the capacity crowd at Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field during another stadium stop on Taylor’s Speak Now World Tour. Taylor Swift ranks second on the Hot Tours tally with the first totals reported from the North American leg of her Speak Now World Tour.  With grosses totaling $10.2 million from nine performances, the total number of tickets purchased from these sold out concerts was 152,537.  Swift played two consecutive nights in two of the markets, Omaha (May 27-28) and Ft. Lauderdale (June 2-3), and performed at the first North American stadium on her 2011 schedule, Ford Field in Detroit.  The sold out concert on June 11 grossed $3.4 million with 47,992 fans in attendance at the home stadium of the NFL's Detroit Lions.  The country artist performed at her first NFL venue, Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., last year during the Fearless Tour.  The June 5, 2010 concert drew 56,868 fans to the home stadium of the New England Patriots.  This year she returns to the home of the New England Patriots for two nights, June 25th and 26th.

Bon Jovi is back in a familiar spot, the No. 1 slot on Billboard's Hot Tours rankings, thanks to box office grosses from the final North American concerts on the Live 2011 Tour that began in February.  The 12 concerts reported during the past week were all sellouts, occurring from May 3rd through the 22nd.  The first two shows were in Canadian markets, Ottawa and Montreal, and the remaining 10 dates were at U.S. arenas.  With $17.6 million from the May concerts added to prior ticket sales, the 2011 tour has grossed almost $57 million from the 34 performances that have been reported. With the tour's North American leg in the books, Bon Jovi is now on the road in Europe with dates scheduled through the end of July.

Stadium performances also give veteran rocker Rod Stewart and country star Kenny Chesney a spot on this week's Top 10 compilation of Hot Tours. Stewart ranks No. 3 with £4.2 million in box office grosses from sold out

performances at four U.K. soccer stadiums on his summer tour schedule. Chesney lands at No. 4 with concerts at a soccer stadium in the Chicago area and an NFL football stadium, Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis.

Country singer Taylor Swift buys herself a Beverly Hills estate

Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has bought herself a Beverly Hills estate - just three months after buying her parents a home in Nashville.

The young star splashed out $1.4 million for the luxury home for her parents Andrea and Scott Swift back in April.

Now she has bought her own compound for more than $3.5 million that's, fittingly, a little bit country.

On close to 1.5 acres, the three-bedroom, three and a half bathroom main house sits behind gates at the end of a long driveway.

It has a countryside vibe with dormer windows, vine-covered arbors, stone paths and wood fencing.

The first-floor master suite has dual bathrooms and walk-in closets while French doors open to the grounds, which include a patio with an outdoor fireplace off the back of the house and a lighted paddle tennis court. 

The guesthouse contains a high-ceilinged living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom.

Swift, just 21, won four Grammys for her work on the album Fearless and song White Horse last year. 

The country performer raised $750,000 for tornado victims at a recent benefit concert in Nashville.

In yet another right of passage as a mega-star, Taylor Swift’s “You Belong to Me” has been parodied by the master of the parody, “Weird Al” Yankovic. His song “TMZ” transforms “You Belong to Me” into the world of the paparazzi on his forthcoming album. “If they ever catch you picking your nose / or stumbling down the street on a drunken spree / you’re on TMZ,” Yankovic sings.

“As a pseudo-celebrity in Los Angeles, I have been on TMZ,” Yankovic said. “But I don’t have a bone to pick. It’s my job to poke fun.”

Almost 30 years ago “Weird” Al released his first parody with songs like The Knack’s “My Sharona,” called “My Bologna. “It’s the great irony of my life,” Yankovic said recently. “Nobody thought I’d have a lasting career.”

Yankovic also features Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” in his the new CD, “Alpocalypse” due in stores June 21.

HOLLYWOOD SPY SPOTLIGHTS: "COWBOYS & ALIENS" WITH DANIEL CRAIG, HARRISON FORD AND OLIVIA WILDE READY TO PREMIERE THIS JULY!

 Although I'm not personally overly excited about it, new sf hit directed by John Favreau COWBOYS & ALIENS could very easily become the biggest blockbuster of the summer 2011 after it premieres on July 29th. Having a James Bond Daniel Craig

and an Indiana Jones Harrison Ford in the cast alongside gorgeous Olivia Wilde, with the plot in which cowboys, gangsters and Indians fight against aliens, the film could attract a big audience.

COWBOY & ALIENS TIDBITS

The story was written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman who brought us the brilliant script of STAR TREK. The cast also includes Sam Rockwell and Keith Carradine. Robert Downey Jr and Eva Green were the first candidates for the lead roles but thankfully they didn't get them! Harrison Ford didn't want to wear a hat in the film but he had to since he plays a cowboy. Film budget was around $100 million! Olivia Wilde has a bare chested scene in the film in front of the huge mass of Indians.

THE STORY OF THE FILM

The story is set in 1873 in Arizona. A stranger (Daniel Craig) with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. What he discovers is that the people of Absolution don't welcome strangers, and nobody makes

a move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford). It's a town that lives in fear.
But Absolution is about to experience fear it can scarcely comprehend as the desolate city is attacked by marauders from the sky. Screaming down with breathtaking velocity and blinding lights to abduct the helpless one by one, these monsters challenge everything the residents have ever known.
Now, the stranger they rejected is their only hope for salvation. As this gunslinger slowly starts to remember who he is and where he's been, he realizes he holds a secret that could give the town a fighting chance against the alien force. With the help of the elusive

in THE BORGIAS has just joined the new adaptation of GREAT EXPEC TATIONS  To be directed by always sensual Mike Newell (PRINCE OF PERSIA, LOVE IN THE TIME OF CHOLERA), as I already mentioned before the film will feature Helena Bonham Carter as rich lady Miss Havisham, who helps a poor orphan Pip throughout his life, and Ralph Fiennes as escaped convict Magwitch. Grainger will play Miss Havisham's adopted daughter Estella who falls in love with the poor orphan (to be played by Jeremy Irvine).

The new adaptation of ROMEO AND JULIET which will feature young Hailee Steinfeld as Julia and Holly Hunter as her

According to "Variety" our dear Brit James McAvoy will replace Michael Fassbender in Danny Boyle's TRANCE, an action drama about an art heist that goes terribly wrong. It seems our dear Luke Evans won't star in ONLY GOD FORGIVES after all :( The lead role has just been taken by Ryan Gosling who will play a career criminal who runs a drug smuggling operation out of a Bangkok boxing gym.

And it seems Zack Snyder has finally finished casting roles for MAN OF STEEL. After Russel Crowe was hired to play Superman's biological father Jor-El, the latest gossips say that almost forgotten Julia Ormond is in talks to play his biological mother Lara. As you know, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane will play Clark Kent's adoptive parents, while Amy Adams will play Lois Lane and Michael Shannon will be the villain. Henry Cavill is, off course, the Superman.

A new poster for one of the biggest super hero blockbusters coming out this summer, July 22nd, has also been released today. It features Chris Evans as CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER, an ordinary guy who gets made into a powerful super

soldier in order to fight Nazis in the WW2. Beside wonderful Chris Evans, the cast also includes Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, Sebastian Stan, Dominic Cooper, Richard Armitage and many others.

I've always known she was ignorant, rude and unintelligent but this is just pure diabolical evil.
