MONICA BELLUCCI AS SULTANA IN "GUARDIAN OF THE HAREM"! GREAT NEW CHARACTER POSTERS FOR "X-MEN: FIRST CLASS"! IS DANIEL DAY LEWIS JOINING "SUPERMAN" TOO?

Ooooh, here's something uber-hot! Turkish and American producers are preparing a historical thriller GUARDIAN OF THE HAREM which will bring us an exotic tale, set in Istanbul during the 17th century of the Ottoman Empire, where the Emperor Sultan Ibrahim, his mother Anastasia and Suleiman, the eunuch of the Harem, find themselves entangled in a series of conspiracies that lead them to their final deaths. Monica Bellucci will be Turhan Sultan, Natassia Malthe (DOA, ELECTRA) will play Josephine (instead of Peta Wilson), Jordi Molla (ELIZABETH THE GOLDEN AGE) will be emperor Ibrahim, while legendary Claudia Cardinale should play sultan's mother. The film is expected to premiere in Venice this September but nothing is still official since the shooting hasn't started yet.

SHORT HEADLINES *The director of lovely and heartwarming  films such as LETTERS TO JULIET and CHARLOTTE'S WEB Gary Winick died from brain cancer this weekend :((( He directed LETTERS TO JULIET with Amanda Seyfried after one of the several surgeries. *According to latest rumors beside Viggo Mortensen as Zod, Daniel Day Lewis is also wanted in SUPERMAN for an unspecified role. *According to "FirstShowing" Len Wiseman's re-imagining of Philip K. Dick's sci-fi  story TOTAL RECALL, starring Colin Farrell as Doug Quaid, has been officially scheduled for summer 2012. Colin will play the famous Arnold Schwarzeneger's role. Colin also has another remake to do - THE FRIGHT NIGHT with Toni Collette.

Check out two new character posters from X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, the prequel to the famous saga which will show us the origins of some of our favourite mutants. The posters show James McAvoy as professor Xavier and Michael Fassbender as Magneto. So, did you watch Oscars last night? I'm happy that THE KING'S SPEECH won most of the major awards, I was also happy with Christian Bale winning, and I thought female awards went into wrong hands. The stage was lovely this year and Anne Hathaway and James Franco were cute but they didn't make me laugh at all (although I did fall asleep after first hour and a half :))

And I really must admit these were probably the weakest Oscars in last ten years when speaking about fashion. I didn't see a single breathtaking gown. What happened? When it comes to best dressed most of you will agree with me that Mila Kunis looked beautiful in her refined Elie Saab gown which matched her angelic blue eyes beautifully.

Young Mandy Moore also looked refined in her beige sparkly dress, while dame Helen Mirren looked quite noble in her graphite gray dress (those puffed sleeves looked great on her). The only sexy dress came from Matthew McConaughey's partner Camila Elves, she really had a wow factor.
There were also three big disappointments: I was very excited to see my favourite Cate Blanchett at the Oscars, and I can't say her dress was ugly but it was strange, overly retro, and it left me disappointed. And I will never understand what happened to adorable Amy Adams? What on Earth made her choose that green jewelry with a violet dress??? Nicole Kidman has lost her title of style icon long time ago, and this time she proved that her obsession with too many details leaves us constantly disappointed.

But I think you will all agree that Jennifer Hudson was the main freak (click to see) of the night! Although her dress was lovely by itself, her boobs looked so horrible in it, that now I think I have a boob phobia :)
When it comes to gentlemen, young Jesse Eisenberg and style icon Justin Timberlake, who was also great on stage, were the most dashing among them all.

Ridley Scott's exciting new futuristic epic movie PROMETHEUS is adding more and more cool cast members: Idris Elba (we will be seeing him as Heimdall in this year's biggest super hero flick THOR and you have also seen him in THE OFFICE, THE LOSERS and ROCK N ROLLA) has just joined the cast which already includes the stunning duo of two talented and gorgeous blue-eyed creatures Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender. Ridley has already promised that the sf film will be epic telling the story of creation, the gods and the man who stood against them. He also said that PROMETHEUS will not be a prequel to ALIEN.

Well, this is shaping up to be a helluva cast: according to "Playlist" Jude Law could join 360, complicated drama from Fernando Meirelles which already includes Anthony Hopkins, Rachel Weisz, Ben Foster. The film will consist of series of interconnected stories in which one couple has a love scene and then one of the partners moves into the next scene to have a love scene with some other partner who then moves to another scene ... The film will show relationships of people from different social backgrounds.

One of the most exciting upcoming fantasy adventures, JACK THE GIANT KILLER, to be directed by Bryan Singer (X-MEN) might add Ewan McGregor. The film will follow young man Jack (Nicholas Hoult) who unwittingly breaks a long-standing peace between the humans and giants when he goes after a princess who the giants kidnapped. Is Perfume A More Attractive Purchase If You Love The Bottle?

Whenever I am in shops that sell perfume I am almost always drawn to the perfume bottles...especially when they are elaborate and fancy! Take Marc Jacobs Daisy or Lola perfume …the bottles are adorned with large ornamental flowers ….sure to catch my eye! Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. line of fragrances Harajuku Lovers… the bottles are super stylish dolls! So…my question is ….are you more likely to buy the perfume if you love the bottle ?

Chances are if you are unsure about the perfume a fabulous bottle will likely give you the incentive to splurge, but what if the bottle is not so hot? Don’t judge a book by its cover is a relevant part of reality when shopping for perfume! If the fragrance is fab but the bottle is drab would you really still buy the fragrance? I decided to see for myself what girls had to say about the topic so….I did a little poll (special thanks to all of my lovely readers who participated) and a booming 75% of girls said yes, they would be inclined to buy the perfume if the bottle was amazing even if the price was high, 13% of girls said no, 7% of girls said for them it depended on how high the price of the perfume was and 4% of girls said they did not buy perfume.

Me? I am undeniably attracted to the bottle. In fact the inspiration for this article was my Daisy & Lola Marc Jacobs perfume, which in all honesty I love a great deal more for the bottle! Don’t know what your opinion is on the subject? The next time you walk into a shop that sells perfume see which bottle your eye is instantly drawn to, and chances are (if your like the other 75% of girls) the bottle will be just to die for!

As I said yesterday many forgotten film actors are moving to TV, and here's today's example: according to "MovieWeb" Christina Ricci might join ABC's new show called PAN AM trying out her luck in the world of television series. Following the trend of MAD MEN in being set in the 1960's, the nighttime soap will revolve around pilots and flight attendants (or stewardesses, as they were known then) at the once-dominant airline. The show is written by ER producers.

Well, after they ruined Atlanta and are preparing to attack Jane Austen, Hollywood zombies  will also have to deal with some tough rivals in ZOMBIES VS ROBOTS. Produced by Michael Bay the film will follow

a young girl who is the last human left on Earth after a worldwide zombie outbreak. But she is protected from the fierce zombies by a group of robots.

Now, here's a not so interesting film with quite an attractive cast: Gerard Butler and Jessica Biel will star in PLAYING THE FIELD, a film about a former pro soccer player who finds himself dodging romantic advances from soccer moms after he agrees to coach his son's youth team in an attempt to bond with the boy. Jessica Biel will play Gerard's ex wife, while almost forgotten Uma Thurman will play one of the moms who is set to seduce the coach. Where does Butler find all these horrible projects when he has charisma for great projects?

And you might also check out the first trailer for BAD TEACHER. The film follows a foul-mouthed, ruthless, and inappropriate teacher (Cameron Diaz). She drinks, she gets high, and she can't wait to marry her meal ticket and get out of her bogus day job. When she's dumped by her fiancé, she sets her plan in motion to win over a rich, handsome substitute(Justin Timberlake) competing for his affections with an overly energetic colleague, Amy (Lucy Punch). When she also finds herself fighting off the advances of a sarcastic, irreverent gym teacher (Jason Segel), the consequences of her wild and outrageous schemes give her students, her coworkers, and even herself an education like no other. The crazy film is out this June.

We've noticed recently that a lot of actors whose careers have gone down in the film world have moved into the TV world, and here's a fresh example: Minnie Driver will take the lead role in CBS new show with an interesting name HAIL MARY.

In the new TV series, Minnie's character will be a suburban mom-turned-private eye who teams up with a streetwise hustler to solve crimes. The show will be set and shot in Atlanta.

has been named the most unlucky man in Hollywood because he almost got the lead roles in JAMES BOND, BATMAN BEGINS, previous SUPERMAN and TWILIGHT, but lost them all, but he recently revealed that he also lost the leading role in 300 because he was fighting to get the James Bond role at that moment. Zack Snyder then gave the role of the Spartan king to Gerard Butler, but  he is now giving Cavill another chance to play in his film through new SUPERMAN. Cavill as Leonidas ... why, oh, why, we didn't see that?!?

 HOLLYWOOD SPY has written before about the new sf/disaster TV series FALLING SKIES which is coming to TNT this summer starring Noah Wyle and produced by Steven Spielberg and here's a new trailer for the exciting show which promises to bring us some fun similar to last year's THE WALKING DEAD. In the show, Noah Wyle plays a former college professor who becomes the leader of a group of soldiers and civilians struggling against an occupying alien force while Moon Bloodgood is a therapist who works with the surviving children to help them cope with the traumatic situation.

How To Do Your Own Marble Manicure

What You’ll Need:

-A Styrofoam cup

-Water

-A toothpick

-A few different bottles of nail polish

-Some tape

*Before you start remember this is a time consuming manicure so make sure you have at least 20 minuets to complete your nails.

Steps

1.    Fill a Styrofoam cup with warm water and set aside.

2.    Paint your nails with a base coat and leave to dry.

3.    When your nails are dry take some tape and put it around your nail bed so only your nails are uncovered, this will help latter so you don’t get nail polish on your skin!

4.    Drop a bit of nail polish into the Styrofoam cup and continue dropping nail polish in the water with different colours, you should be making a bulls eye shape.

5.    Use a toothpick to create an interesting design with the nail polish!

6.    Carefully dip your nail in the water, use the toothpick to remove the excess nail polish from around your nail.

7.    Remove your nail from the water. When the polish is dry peel off the tape.

8.    Repeat this process for all 10 nails, it is time consuming but it is definitely worth it, your nails look fabulous after!

 Unbelievably gorgeous and equally talented beauty Ashley Judd has kinda disappeared from A league movies for some unknown reasons, and we miss her sensual presence a lot at the big screens, but it seems she could revive her career through a TV role. According to "Variety" she might get the lead role in ABC's new show called MISSING which will follow a suburban mother who, after her son disappears in Italy while studying abroad, rushes to Europe to track him down. It soon becomes clear she is no ordinary soccer mom, but a former CIA agent who will stop at nothing to bring her son home alive. The show will follow the refreshing new trend of series having ten episodes per season.

SHORT HEADLINES *Jason Isaacs, whom we love heaps, will take the lead role in NBC's new show REM, following the simultaneous and parallel lives of a detective who can't let go of any aspect of his fractured family after a car accident. *Since Johnny Depp is overly busy with more lucrative projects, Serbian director Emir Kusturica is now negotiating with Benicio Del Toro and Gael Garcia Bernal to take the lead role in his upcoming WILD ROSES, TENDER ROSES (click to read more about it), the film about the life of Mexican revolutionary figure, Pancho Villa.  The film should also star Salma Hayek.

A few years ago Serbia made its biggest blockbuster in the last decade TEARS FOR SALE (click to watch the breathtaking trailer), about Serbian women left without any men after WW1 in which almost million Serbs were killed (Serbia has 8 million people in total), and now it seems Americans are doing something similar: WITHOUT MEN will be a film about the women of a remote Latin American town who are forced to pick up the pieces and remake their world when all the town's men are forcibly recruited by communist guerrillas.The lead role will be played by Eva Longoria, who will be joined by Christian Slater in the cast.

the world of sitcoms. The star of cult show HOME IMPROVEMENT will join ABC again in an untitled sitcom (it was called THE LAST DAYS OF MAN previously) about a man who is struggling to survive in a world where females dominate most aspects of life. The new pilot comes from the producer of 30 ROCK.

SHORT HEADLINES *OMG  do you remember our favourite childhood animated character the lazy bull Ferdinand  who would rather graze in a pasture and smell the flowers than fight matadors? :) Well, he's coming back! Now, here's a nice (or shall I say sexy) cast: according to "MovieWeb" Sofia Vergara (trying to sell you some coffee in the pic), Alex Pettyfer and Bradley Cooper could all join THE PAPERBOY, which will follow the lazy son of a newspaper publisher who gets dragged into a murder investigation by his big brother, a seasoned journalist. They try to determine whether or not the man sentence to death row for the crime is truly responsible. Alex Pettyfer will play the younger slacker, Bradley Cooper will portray the big brother journalist, and Sofía Vergara will play the wife of a death row inmate.The film will be directed by Lee Daniels (PRECIOUS).

An adaptation of the novel that follows a 13-year-old girl running away from Nebraska to Las Vegas will have Lively playing a grifter who meets the girl on the road and takes her under her wing, while Redmayne will play another loner who tries luring the girl away and also shares a past with Lively. Eddie Redmayne will also be seen in MY WEEK WITH MARYLIN alongside Michelle Williams next year.

As you know, Gore Verbinski (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN) is planning a film adaptation of LONE RANGER, the story of a masked cowboy  riding a white stallion named Silver who, with the help of his Native American sidekick Tonto,  tries to

bring  unscrupulous gangs and others of that ilk to justice. Johnny Depp has been set to play Tonto from the beginning, and although there were some rumors that George Clooney might play the Ranger, there are new reports which say that the director has cast his eye on ultra charismatic Timothy Olyphant as the possible lead hero.

This is not my cup of tea, but I'm sure some of you will enjoy it :) - Matthew Vaughn (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS) wants to do another super hero film. Entitled THE GOLDEN AGE the film will focus on a retirement facility for superheroes past their prime who are trying to help their grandchildren after their parents have turned the world into chaos. Now, here's the crazy part: Vaughn wants Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty in the three lead roles.

Sam Raimi has found his two lead stars for OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL the film which will describe the origin of Oz  and Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, Evanorah, the Wicked Witch of the East, and her sister, Theodorah, the Wicked Witch of the West. Since there are obviously no other young actors but him in Hollywood these days, James Franco

will play Oz instead of Robert Downey Jr who was kicked out of the project, while Mila Kunis will play The Wicked Witch of the West.
